I love Pomeranians! They are a very important part
of my life. I have been breeding and showing for about 30 years now, and have produced numerous champions.
I'm definately not a high volume breeder, since I only breed 1 to 3 litters a year. That doesn't mean
a lot of puppies, since some litters have only 1 puppy, and some puppies don't survive no matter how hard you work
to keep them alive. It can be very heartbreaking at times.
I breed so that I will have something to show. I find
myself wanting to keep every puppy, but eventually sanity prevails, and I realize I have to let some go. I
really enjoy having those precious puppies around. Their sweet
puppy kisses are a wonderful bonus to showing!
I don't own or breed any other kind of dogs, but I do have 2 cats, one of which was raised
by one of my Poms from the age of 3 weeks, and thought he WAS a Pom for two or three years.
By the way, the Mi in
Mi Babe Poms, is pronounced my.
